What is Storm?

The old way of building worlds in Unity looks something like this: hand-sculpted terrain on top of legacy systems, custom tooling layered over time, performance patches applied late in the project, and a growing sense that every new feature costs more in complexity than it returns in player value. Your environment pipeline becomes fragile and hard to evolve.

Storm represents a different approach. Instead of treating performance and scale as a post-production problem, it bakes them into the core rendering architecture. Building on 10+ years of procedural world tools, starting with Gaia’s stamp-based authoring in 2015 and expanding through GeNa and CTS, Storm unifies world generation and high-performance rendering so that terrain, texturing, vegetation, buildings, cities, and even dungeons all sit on a foundation designed for modern hardware.

How to get Storm
For Indies:

There are three ways to get Storm - Subscription, Outright, and Rent-to-Buy Outright with ShopPay.

In the Unity Editor, a Subscription License stops working when the subscription expires. An Outright license never expires - Storm always works in the Editor.

In your built game, Storm never checks the license status in builds. That means all builds run forever, regardless of the license you used or whether a subscription has expired.
